The Art of Living is a social affair where wine is flowing, appetizers are abundant and jazz can be heard through-out. Guests can sit for a caricature drawing, take part in the silent auction or watch an artist as she finishes her painting in time for the live auction. The food and entertainment is not limited and after two successful events, it’s hard to imagine it could get any better.
Proceeds from this event will support the “Building a Home for Hope Campaign.”

White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society a special kind of caring - Our philosophy is simple:
Hospice is about living. As a not-for-profit charitable organization, White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society is celebrating over 34 years of serving the growing communities of White Rock and South Surrey by offering emotional, practical and spiritual support – inclusive of all cultures, faiths and beliefs – at no charge to individuals, their family and friends who are facing advanced illness or bereavement.
Our compassionate team of over 300 volunteers and 10 staff are the driving force that supported hundreds of new palliative and grief clients through our diverse programs and services, as well as providing outreach counselling and education within the community. In addition, we provide Day Camps for children ages 6-12 who have experienced the death of someone important to them, and our client and auxiliary volunteers donated over 11,134 hours of care to those facing life-threatening illness and those who are bereaved. Our Society invites you to please Join Our “Building a Home for Hope Campaign” and invest in a lasting legacy for the Communities of White Rock and South Surrey. Through the construction of our new Supportive Care Centre, we can offer a safe and secure building with increased client privacy, provide programs and services to meet the growing the needs of our community ,and ensure that our ongoing funding is used for programs as opposed to the ongoing repairs and maintenance of our present aging and run down facility.
The Art of Living, an evening in support of White Rock South Surrey Hospice Society event, cannot happen without support from organizations, corporations and caring individuals from our community. We know that for the Society to continue to support the community and build a much needed new Supportive Care Centre, that we must support them, and together, We Can Make A Difference in the health and wellness of our community. We invite you to join with us and ensure our local Hospice Society is always there when we need them.
